Confirmed activities from 3-7pm

  • In-store specials

  • ATCO Entertainment stage with a variety of performances

  • Wagon rides (bring $2 for a donation to the Food Bank)

  • Cookie Decorating Station in Pioneer Trail- sponsored by HiWay 9 Express. 3:00-6:45 pm

  • S'mores Station- sponsored by Canalta Hotels

  • Kids Craft Station in the Legion Basement. 3:00-6:45pm.

  • Glow Sticks Station- sponsored by the Badlands Amphitheatre

  • Photos with Santa & Mrs. Claus in Pioneer Trail- sponsored by Rosebud Theatre. 3:00-6:30pm.

  • Meet Falon Manywounds, Stampede First Nations Princess, in Dry Canyon Collectables

  • Approximately 20 fire pits with various treats and warm beverages (hot chocolate, cookies, candy canes, etc.)

  • Dino Donuts food truck

  • *New- Kids activities, Christmas music and nativity scenes at the Knox United Church

  • Official lighting of the community treeat 7:00pm

Then head to the Badlands Amphitheatre for LIGHTFEST: Fireworks in the Badlands. This is a ticketed event:

Adults (18 years and over): $15
Youth (10 - 17 years): $10
Children (0 - 9 years): Free

Parking is $3 in advance or $5 at the gate. Ticket fee of $3 per ticket.

Drumheller residents: until October 31st, save the parking fee and the ticket fee by purchasing your tickets by phone. Call 403-826-2102 by October 31st for complimentary parking and ticket fees.

Each person attending requires a ticket to enter. Get your tickets online at or by calling 403-826-2102. This event is festival seating.

4:40pm- Bedrock Playschool

5:00pm- Music by Izzy Mac

5:35pm- Headline Act- the Marcus Trummer Band

6:40pm- Fire Dance Show (*new!)

7:00pm- Official tree lighting


7:00pm- Badlands Amphitheatre opens to public

7:30 to 8:30pm- Pre-show activities

8:30pm- LIGHTFEST Fireworks
